Time didn't seem to fly quite so fast the first time around. With Carolina, sometimes it seems like the calendar has to be lying. Like she can't possibly be closer to her
second birthday now than her first. Not long after I found out we were having a girl, I was browsing professional photographer's sites for shoot ideas and came across a picture of a little girl, hair messed up, wearing a tutu and soccer cleats with a big grin and was captivated by this image of sweet and sassy. I thought, "That's what I picture my little girl to be!" Seems like I got my wish. From one extreme to the other, she's a whole lot of sugar, a whole lot of spice, and a happy little girl that lives to explore the world, dirt and all.
Five minutes into this photo shoot, the expensive bow ended up in the Koi pond, and she nearly did, too. (Note to self: next time take an extra set of hands, since mine were on the camera!) After I drug her away from wanting to swim with the "ishies" as big as her, we headed to the water fountain where she found sticks to poke into the water. She didn't even seem to care that the water fell right over the sides. Right over the entire front of her. Dress, socks, shoes and all completely soaked. She thought it was funny, and at that point so did I...
